Enterprise Architect (TOGAF)
The contract is with a large consultancy to be on an assignment at a major European site in Stockholm as follows:-
The organisation is looking for a dedicated Enterprise Architect with expertise in IT Enterprise Architecture analysis of complex business structure and processes, comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering. He/she should have knowledge and experience in conducting IT Studies of different nature, experience in definition and implementation of technical roadmaps and extent of experience in coordinating team members, facilitating meetings with collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
Tasks and Deliverables by the Consultant
The EA discipline includes the following areas and tasks:
Represent the ICT-Unit in setting up the EA practice for ECDC;
Support coordination of the IT Architecture team formed by solution and system architects in ECDC;
Support the development of the IT strategy management framework and the IT strategy (ongoing activity);
Developing guidelines and principles for, norms and standards, design, data and metadata structures, information flow, supported technologies, programming languages and browsers, reduce before-reuse before-buy before-build, acquisition and configuration management, access and rights management, decommissioning;
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Overall expertise and experience in IT Enterprise Architecture;
Experience in IT strategy management framework and IT strategy development;
Experience in defining and implementing an EA practice in an organisation previously lacking one;
Experience with EA transformation projects based on the TOGAF Architecture Development Method (ADM) or equivalent;
Experience in documenting (in English), introducing and monitoring strategies, policies, standards and technical roadmaps on the enterprise level;
Communication and motivation. Experience and ability to adapt communication to different stakeholders. Negotiation skills.
