Description
Integration Engineer/SDN Engineer/Software Defined Network Integration Engineer for a major telecom operator, freelance contract.
Main Tasks:
- Technical investigation on Software Defined Networks (SDN) ie talk with vendors about their road-map and an operator road-map.
- Investigate on vendor's design, capabilities and feature set of their SDN solutions
- Negotiate with vendors on support during integration
- Interact with other operator stakeholders
MAIN DELIVERABLE and RESPONSIBILITY:
Roll-out and Integration of SDN solution (Proof of Concept in first step) into the operator network.
Skills:
- Good background in TCP/IP Networks
- Good development/Scripting skills in languages such as Perl and/or Pyton
- Good understanding of SOAP and REST interfaces
- Optionally: experiences in provision
- Optionally: experiences in parsing data
- Very good understanding of OpenStack (optionally OpenShift)
- Very good technical integration and roll-out skills
- Mature person who can have conversations with vendors and other stakeholders
- Mature person who can think and act on Architecture and Design level
