Engine Test Technician
Location: Peterborough
Contract: Initial 6 months (view to extension)
Salary: £12 per hour (Paye) £17 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd)

Global leader in the design and manufacture of Heavy Industrial Diesel Engines
The Role
Assisting the Development Engineers with Engine Test duties, stripping and rebuilding engine units. Preparing Engine units for vigorous testing by mounting on test beds. Fitting prototype parts prior to testing. Recording test data on in house databases.
The Candidate
Ideally vocationally qualified within Motor Vehicle Mechanics, with an understanding of engine test beds. An excellent communicator who is PC literate. Although not predominately shift work, the ideal applicant will have some flexibility towards working shifts if required.
