Statutory & Regulatory Systems Manager
Barcelona and Edinburgh
KPMG are working on a project with one of our Banking clients. The project aims to develop a reporting tool to satisfy all external financial reporting to Regulators, and also including production of Statutory Accounts. This role is largely Spain based with some time in Edinburgh.
Support deployment of regulatory/statutory reporting application and manage ongoing developments
Ready to take ownership of the software solution; representing our Banking Client within the project
Single point of contact for the AXIOM project on all matters concerning the Client's end user
On-going management and changes to AXIOM application to support Statutory and Regulatory reporting requirements
Duties:
- Manages the delivery of the Axiom reporting solution on behalf of our Client's Financial Control department in conjunction with Sabadell IT, Sabadell Group Finance, and the Software Vendor
- Co-ordinates activity across all Functional experts within the wider Finance and Business community who are identified as key stakeholders within the project
- Undertakes standard project management processes in conjunction with the Central Finance Programme ie planning, status reporting, RAIDs management
- Maintain awareness of all Regulatory and Statutory Reporting Developments as they may impact the Reporting Tool
- Manage and deliver reporting changes in accordance with changes in Regulatory and Statutory reporting requirements
Advises the Bank on AXIOM capability as the Subject Matter Expert
Mandatory:
Project Management, including understanding IT/systems development and data management/report writing
Understanding of UK Statutory and Regulatory Reporting including FINREP, COREP, BOE and other regulatory bodies
Desirable:
Knowledge of Axiom
