Description
SC Cleared Network Specialist required for a 6 month contract to be based in Exeter, Devon.
The SC Cleared Network Specialist will be involved with all parts of network providing a wide range of level 1 and level 2 support for network systems and infrastructure.
The client is looking for experienced SC Cleared Network Specialists.
The SC Cleared Network Specialists will come to the role with:
*Expertise with Cisco products and current CCNA or equivalent
*Minimum 2 years hands on experience to include Level 1/2 support and troubleshooting of enterprise class organisation for LAN/WAN connectivity technologies.
*Strong problem solving skills, and ability to determine root cause and determine resolution.
*Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
*Strong communication, documentation and organizational skills.
Desirable:
*ITIL Foundation or above.
*Previous implementations using Cisco Nexus range is advantageous.
*Previous Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet Firewall experience.
*Cisco Prime Data Centre Manager.
*Experience of providing Level 3 support.
The SC Cleared Network Specialist will be responsible:
*Work as part of held desk and operations team
*Provide level 1 and level 2 support for network systems and infrastructure
*Working with technical documentation of issues
*Possibility of further work with Tech Lead driving improvements
