We have a superb opportunity for an outstanding Java/JEE/AWS hands on Tech Lead or lead developer ideally with team leading experience to join us in a critical period of our growth. This is a 6 months contract with the possibility to renew.
You must be a passionate technologists with a strong core Java background to be considered.
The successful candidate must also demonstrate knowledge & experience in multiple areas of our technology stack which includes Hibernate, Spring, MySQL and ActiveMQ with applications mainly deployed into the Amazon AWS/EC2 cloud.
Skills include:
- Technical leadership/mentoring less experienced developers
- Strong experience with J2EE, Spring(MVC,Security,Integration), Hibernate, Cloud, AWS
- Good understanding of the software development process
- Working in an agile environment with responsibility to resolve sprint issues, keep
- Working both hands off and hands on from a development and software design standpoint including in-depth knowledge of relevant design patterns
- Evaluation and recommendation of emerging technologies, tools and development practices
- Working with key members of the team to develop a technology road map & architecture
- Continuous Integration & TDD
