Description

COMPLIANCE MANAGER - RETAIL BANKING - RISK - £413 per day
We have a requirement for a Compliance Manager to join our banking client based in Chester. The project is working on the compliance plan within consumer finance division, there is an initial 6 month contract with a view of being extended.
Candidates with experience on similar projects should highlight this on their application.
Core Skills Required:
A working knowledge of regulatory banking compliance essential to this role.
Comprehensive knowledge and wide practical experience across a number of financial services disciplines.
Detailed knowledge of key relevant legal, regulatory and statutory requirements, technical interpretation and the ability to provide advice thereon.
Uses this knowledge to define and formulate both medium and long term business strategies and direction continually reviewing these to ascertain when changes necessitate amendments.
Solution and Problem Solving - Strong ability to identify and create solution
IT - Strong knowledge of IT skills - excel, access, word, PowerPoint, Visio essential

Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the business area Compliance function to ensure that all business undertaken
Meets regulatory requirements and that the Business's responsibilities are correctly discharged.
Provide support to Senior Management in the interpretation of regulatory and statutory changes and their likely impact on processes,
Procedures, controls and products.
Review and where appropriate, sanction recommendations for improvements to processes, practices and procedures ensuring all changes are effectively planned, communicated and implemented with the minimum of disruption and that changes are understood by all affected parties.
When required support compliance related projects ensuring these are delivered on time and to specification.
RATE: Up to £413 per day
LOCATION: Chester
DURATION: 6 months +
START: 4 to 6 weeks
