Job Description
The ideal candidate would be someone who takes the quality of their code seriously, stays current with industry developments and strives to remain at the cutting edge, has a hunger to learn and is unafraid of breaking something. There are significant changes coming to the platform over the next year or so requiring development using SQL and .NET - which will have an impact on our technical landscape. Successful candidates should keep up-to-date with these trends so that we can make incremental changes to support these & and avoid potentially expensive re-writes. Strong SDLC culture with emphasis on thorough testing front to back using the available tools.
Experience Required
Commercial experience, preferably in distributed systems development. .NET 3.5 - 4.6, C# (3.0 - 6.0) essential.
Strong SQL (SQL ) essential.
Unit/integration testing experience using MSTest/NUnit/Moq is essential.
Experience working with full stack from database to Front End essential.
Experience with ASP.NET WebApi2, OWIN, OAuth2 advantageous.
Experience with Front End technologies such as WinForms. AMD/SPA JS frameworks (eg DurandalJS/AngularJS) advantageous.
Additionally, potential candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems with elegant, maintainable solutions.
Desirable, not essential Skills:
C#.Net 4.6 and above
Investment banking experience
Strong Problem solving experience
Distrubuted systems experience
