System Monitoring Implementation Lead, HP Operations Manager
An excellent opportunity to work for a leading IT company who are looking for a System Monitoring Implementation Lead to work in Erskine for a year contract.
Responsibilities:
Implements part or all of the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design. Occasionally responsible for providing a detailed technical design for enterprise solutions. Understands a broad spectrum of HP technology in order to provide part or all of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements.
Often leads small to medium technical projects. Works with and under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and with customer nominated representatives. Liaises with Solutions Architect as appropriate.
Provides technical support and input on the application of technology to a defined business segment. Provides advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments.
Contributes to knowledge tools and communities, and ensures project learning's are documented and shared. Role models Focuses on single customer. Solves diverse and complex. May lead a project team.
Essential Knowledge and Skills Required:
System monitoring experience and deploying solutions;
Analytical and problem solving skills
Experience working with HP Operations Manager 9.x
Proficiency with database development (SQL) and management
Proficiency at programming in the Perl, Shell, VBS, Python, Java or PHP programming languages
Proficiency utilizing JSON, XML frameworks
Experience with Operating Systems UNIX (Linux, Solaris, HPUX, AIX) and Windows
Experience designing and developing software applications
Experience in Software Testing, and Problem Solving
Experience documenting software functionality, ability to integrate software with existing systems
Effective presentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills in English
Due to the nature of the role and the time scale issued by our Client, candidates must hold SC Clearance or be willing to go through the clearance process.
