Description
We are looking for a Unix Specialist to start a new contract for one of our large financial services clients based in London.
Role:
Maintaining compliance to SOX, ITEC and other internal processes whilst building relationships with IT Risk and Auditors.
Deliver assigned tasks to deadlines and assist in quality assessing the work of others if required.
Provide technical guidance to colleagues and liaise with third party vendor team members to ensure Identity & Access Management provide a seemles service to our customers.
Experience Required:
Must have significant prior experience in Unix and Linux and be able to demonstrate successful performance in a similar role.
Experienced in working within a Financial/Service Management environment with a very good understanding of the processes, procedures and system support tools used within an IT environment.
Highly articulate and driven, with the ability to escalate, delegate and influence in a complex and diverse stakeholder environment.
Partner with other Security related initiatives within Information Technology (IT) and various business units to discuss access issues, explain access rights and manage process.
Follow up on access management deficiencies identified in risk reviews, self-assessments, risk assessments and internal and external audits
Review and process all project requests in a timely manner to meet Service Level Agreements, Any security experience would be highly beneficial but this is not expectation
Desirable:
Previous Banking/Financial Services experience
