Security Analyst - RSA Security Analytics - wanted for our Zurich based client within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will be joining a global team who are responsible for monitoring and examining security events, coordinating platform integration and maintaining RSA Security Analytics system.Your experience/skills:
- Proven track record experience in RSA Security Analytics Core administration, log correlation and incident management
- Proven experience with the RSA Security Analytics system, with a strong understanding of BalaBit Syslog-ng system
- Sound knowledge and understanding of FINMA circulars and Federal Act on Data Protection
- Sound understanding of common IT attack techniques
- Relevant knowledge of operating systems, databases, networking protocols and technologies
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
Daily monitoring and review of security events to determine if they qualify as legitimated security incidents. This includes:
- Monitoring and examining security events and determining preliminary causes
- Performing incident investigations and determine the root cause, as needed initiate the incident response plan and escalation procedure
- Conducting ad-hoc log searches and/or investigations and escalate to the Security Office as necessary
- Informing and counselling management on incident response progress
- Producing security incident report including proposal for corrective actions and risk control improvement as well as analysing and reporting security event trends
