Description
Oracle Database Administrator wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- Min. 7 years of experience in Oracle database administration on Linux platforms
- Min. 3 years of production support experience
- Proficiency of database optimization and tuning
- Deep know-how in supporting Oracle RAC and Dataguard setup
- Good understanding of Oracle Releases 11g and utilities like RMAN and Grid Control
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, similar subject or proven working experience in the database area
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus
Your tasks:
- Developing and integrating Database Administration solutions
- Supporting project releases
- Giving project advice and handling project requests
- Transferring solutions to the 2nd Level Database Operations
- Being part of the 2nd Level Oracle DBA on-call team for emergency duties (Pikett)
