Core JavaScript Developer (Lead)/(Angular, MUST HAVE) - Amsterdam/London
Rate: £600 - £650 p/d
Length: 12 contract - 6 months in Amsterdam is a must and then part remote
My client is very much in the digital content space and they are currently working on the next generation of all its websites (Greenfield Project), this is - a node.js based suite of micro services orchestrated to form the user-interface
They are looking for an exceptional Core JavaScript Developer who is happy to work onsite to develop these websites. This role is a very exciting piece of work and it one where you have the opportunity to help build something substantial from the ground up.
Responsibilities: Core JavaScript Developer (Lead)/(Angular, MUST HAVE) - Amsterdam/London
- JavaScript, CSS and HTML development for new product features.
- Writing and integrating with Server Side APIs.
- Liaising with product owners, UX and designers to help shape the user experience.
- Managing the life cycle of a feature - from design to build to deployment.
- Contributing to the company-wide frameworks.
Skills: Core JavaScript Developer (Lead)/(Angular, MUST HAVE) - Amsterdam/London
- Highly capable in JavaScript programming.
- Evidence of Angular based projects
- Evidence of Node.js on the Back End
- Knowledge of a variety of software design patterns, such as factory, observer, module, pubsub, closure, async, promises etc
- Excellent quality of written and spoken English.
- Able to work/across different teams at one time, but also work on their own initiative
- Some Server Side development experience (eg node.js, python, Java...).
- Working knowledge of Linux command line tools and version control concepts.
Desirable: Core JavaScript Developer (Lead)/(Angular, MUST HAVE) - Amsterdam/London
- Knowledge of the current state of ES6 and ES7 development
- Experience with version control and Front End build tools (Sass, babel, grunt etc.).
