The Role
Development:
- Develop software in the IP domain
- Development activities include new features, new projects or maintenance,
- Follow the development processes (CMMI), development framework, testing framework, best practices in place inside the R&D department: assume assigned roles as technical leader, main contributor, reviewer, etc
- Participate to continuous enhancement of these processes and frameworks
Integration:
- Participate to Development and/or integration activities in new projects and/or solve customer issues in maintenance phase,
- Specify integration setups and integration test plans, follow or execute test plans and provide reports
- Ensure effective coverage of services and situations,
- Update bug tracking data base and provide a clear status
- Provide a high reactivity in very urgent issue or urgent task
The Individual
- Basic knowledge of network infrastructure services and protocols
- Layer 2 services (VLAN),
- Layer 3 IP Protocols IPV4/IPV6,
- Networking protocols as DHCP, DNS,
- Routing/WAN Protocols knowledge would be appreciated (not mandatory)
- BGP/BFD/RIP/OSPF
- PPP/MLPPP/L2TP/GRE
- Embedded System skills
- OS as Linux or VxWorks or BSD
- Real Time issues, Memory issues,Troubleshooting
- C language
- French & English speaking
