Description
The Web Developer is responsible for creating cross-browser code for use in websites and applications. Candidates must be experienced in a range of web technologies and programming languages including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and PHP, and will be prepared to develop additional skills and knowledge. The ideal candidate should have experience developing sites in Drupal. They will be able to work on multiple projects at the same time, collaborate and involve other team members to resolve challenges, and communicate clearly and effectively with designers, project managers, and clients.Responsibilities:
- Evaluate creative concepts and define development approaches together with the team
- Create prototypes to demonstrate functionality and interaction techniques
- Review wireframes and designs and ensure interface usability with regard to web standards, technical specifications, and
accessibility requirements - Build and/or recommend how to build interactive deliverables according to approved designs and technical specifications (pros/cons of using Sass, LESS, jQuery, etc.)
- Maintain a working knowledge of the latest technologies and be prepared to confidently present them as options in relation to projects
- Responsible for being aware of timeliness and meeting milestones and deadlines
- Develop websites with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery and other modern programming languages
- Use Git for version control and code repositories
- Develop content management systems with Drupal
