Front End Developer with strong commercial experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, jQuery, JSON, Node and personal development of responsive websites is immediately required to join one of the UK's leading insurers in Dorset.
In the position, you will be hands on developing working in a highly progressive and Agile environment developing their high-volume B2C website across their multiple platforms. The project is crucial to company's plans for the foreseeable future and have set aside a significant budget to ensure it is completed on time and in-depth.
Essential Skills and Experience Criteria
. Strong understanding of JavaScript
. Good commercial experience in HTML, CSS, jQuery and SASS
. Personal development of high volume responsive websites
. Strong knowledge of Node/Ruby with package management
. Browser and Device testing
. Ability to XSLT templates
The position is an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of a contract extension dependent on project and personal success.
