Description

IT Support Engineer required. IT Support Technician required to provide Desktop support for Computer People's client based in Madrid, Spain. Occasional travel to Barcelona may also be expected.

As IT Support Technician you will be responsible for providing first and second line support in a busy helpdesk environment. The IT Support Engineer must have a proven background providing workplace support for Windows 7/8 OS, Microsoft Office 2010, Microsoft Lync 2010, Dell Laptops/Apple Mac laptops and mobile phones.

The IT Support Technician will have 2 - 4 year's experience with strong desktop support skills and a strong familiarity of the overall infrastructure environment. You will be required to act as a primary point of contact with regards to information technology service support and operations for specific areas/sites.

As the IT Support Technician you will Support a wide range of technology typically hardware infrastructure, applications, data storage, computing devices, media, networks and all equipment related to the delivery of IT services to meet the needs of the business.

Here is a brief summary of the skills required:

  • Service Desk/Desktop Support Analyst Windows 7
  • Good Customer service skills/Customer Facing
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Lync 2010
  • Good Troubleshooting skills, attention to detail
  • Basic Networking (Patching, WIFI, DHCP. DNS)

Desirable:

  • Degree in Information Technology or related technical program strongly desired.
  • Relevant Industry Certifications & Knowledge: ITIL, A+, Network+, MCP, MCSA, CCNA, SOX, SSAE16, ISO
  • Apple Mac hardware support
