We are working with a leading international telecoms vendor with an exciting opening for a Project Manager with a strong background in OSS and the telecoms domain.
Mission/Tasks:
- The OSS Project Manager is in charge of leading the OSS Inventory part for a full project on one product Billing Telecom throughout the product life cycle. This includes requirement gathering, design, implementation, testing, customer acceptance, cutover, move to production and stabilization.
- The project for operator is done in three main phases, which can be considered as managing three sub project in parallel, each having all of the steps
The PM is in charge on his/her field of:
- Planning, Budget, Risk management, Team leading, Resource plan, Alerts
- Financials and progress, re-estimation and repositories
- Coordinating with the overall program teams and with each other domain CPM and SA when needed
- Ensures all operational engagements are met and that all methods and processes are applied by his/her team
- Manages the operational relations with potential subcontractors
- Prepares and leads operational internal and customer steering meetings
- Participates in overall internal and customer steering meetings
- Leads his/her teams to deliver on time and with expected quality
- Reports and updates all project KPIs
- Trips to the Asia Pacific offices are expected during the mission
Expected skills:
- Experience with Inventory OSS Telecom is mandatory
- French and English are mandatory (The customer is French, meetings, workshops and external documentation will be in French, Teams are internationals)
- 10 to 15 years' experience needed as a project manager
- Telecom fixed line & mobile knowledge mandatory
