Principal Engineer
A Principal Engineer with submarine experience is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Cumbria
This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Principal Engineer contract role
You will be responsible for producing or amending design substantiation reports and producing safety justification documentation to support safety case for Nuclear related site facilities and equipment along with obtaining authorisation through due process, establishing and agreeing stakeholder requirements (and if applicable Nuclear Safety functional requirements) for facilities and equipment.
Key skills required for the Principal Engineer
- Relevant Engineering Degree although HNC with suitable experience will be considered.
- The successful candidate will have electrical and C&I design and nuclear safety case experience.
The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District
