Marine Safety Engineer - MOD, JSP 430, SSMO
Marine Safety Engineer required by our prestigious client in Portsmouth. You will be responsible for project compliance with UK and International Legislation. This is coupled with compliance with JSP 430, JSP 375 and JSP 418 To lead on Hazard identification and Safety Assessments.
With regards to technical skills, you should possess an understanding of MoD safety management activities and processes, ie JSP 430 and the ALARP process.
Qualifications: Engineering degree desirable ONC/HNC or equivalent experience in Engineering Experience of safety engineering within a marine environment. Ship Safety Management (SSMO) qualified Working knowledge of MOD Safety & Environmental Management Systems
