Senior Category Manager - Norwich
The purpose of your role is to maximise value through the end-to-end commercial management of Aviva's key suppliers and associated third party spend, focussing on driving performance and commercial benefit from the supply chain. You'll meet agreed commercial targets for the Property & Business Services category - including delivery of sustainable cost reductions and also be accountable for the management of all relevant category or sub-category spend.
You'll apply appropriate commercial, supplier relationship management and category management skills, tools and techniques in order to:
- drive value for money through the identification and delivery of savings
- drive performance by optimising the Aviva supply chain
- mitigate and manage supply chain risk
- manage suppliers within the category to achieve contracted levels of performance and benefit delivery to Aviva
Skills/Experience
- CIPS Qualified
- Proven track record of delivering Category Management within a demanding, fast evolving environment
- Strong Facilites/Property Category Management experience - preferably from an insurance/fs background (Not essential)
- Experience of Procurement in the Property & Facilities Category
- Leading and managing complex sourcing processes
- Developing and negotiating complex supplier agreements
- Leading and managing strategic and/or business critical supplier relationships and contracts
- Strong stakeholder management and proven track record of building strong internal business relationships at all levels
