Description

Global leading player within the insurance field is recruiting for an Expense Analyst on a 7 month contract with a high possibility for extension, based in Liverpool.

BACKGROUND

This role sits within the finance department - FRACO - finance reporting and controls and operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is fast moving, and high volume data role.

The candidate will be analysing data using excel

helping to create reports,

talking with the business to analysis why figures are wrong,

looking at payments and expenses - correcting anomalies

looking at month end reports

They will be provided Cost Centre reports to analyse - look at payments against these cost codes for errors, create and new cost codes that may be needed. Helping to ensure the current cost centre hierarchy is correct.

Attend meetings to discuss working day expenses.

Heavily liaise with the business to update on errors and corrections, to help reduce errors.

Expenses and payments analyst - Insurance or Finance background

Must have good communication skills as will be working closely with the business stakeholders with issues and updates

Experienced in analysing payments and expenses, working with the business stakeholders

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

Part qualified/Qualified Accountant

Data analysis - particularly expenses and payments

Exceptional excel knowledge

Proven experience of working with stakeholders to go through data results and errors
