Description
Optimus Life Sciences are working with a global pharmaceutical leader to find a QA Batch Release Officer to join them on a 6-month contract. The role will be based on the south coast of the UK on a manufacturing site that produces tablets.The role will be placed within the Quality department and work very closely with Qualified Persons and Quality Managers to ensure Batches are released properly and in accordance with guidelines. The focus of the job will be primarily on the batch release documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Batch Record Document Review.
- Detailed review of completed batch records on site.
- Update related tracking databases and run reports.
- Identify compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Co-ordination of review and follow-up on corrections of GMP documentation.
- Assist in pre-release activities efficiently and effectively in close liaison with QP.
Requirements
- Science Degree or equivalent level of experience.
- Quality systems knowledge, preferably cGMP.
- Significant work experience gained in a Biotech or Pharmaceutical Industry.
- IT literate - MS Office (advanced) - Word, Explorer, Excel, Outlook.
- Database familiarity with searches / queries and accurate data entry.
- Some knowledge of batch auditing is preferable although not essential.
