Marketing Associate - Crewe - £17 - £23 per hour - 12 Month Contract
Our client, a Global engineering company is seeking a Marketing Associate to be based in Crewe on an initial 12 Month Contract.
JOB PURPOSE
The position is responsible for developing operational marketing programs for the UKI business and specific regions, including the following responsibilities:
Launch new products
Support the sales of existing differentiated offerings
Organise local exhibitions to promote sales
Manage telemarketing and direct mail campaigns to generate leads
Contribute to the development of literature and other marketing collateral used to support the sales of key products.
Undertake market research as required for the new product development process.
Develop new channels to market (E-business)
Coordinate and define major events to develop high-level relationship with key customers, partners and suppliers
Coordinate PR and communication actions
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Experience within (B2B) company, including experience developing strategic marketing plans. The incumbent should provide evidence of marketing understanding and experience developing strategic business plans.
It is essential that the job holder can demonstrate:
The ability to understand the full Industrial Gases portfolio, UKI industrial gas markets, competitor strategies and customer/segment applications
Strategic and analytical capabilities to develop a comprehensive market understanding and translate it to regional strategic plans
Communication skills
Excellent team skills and capability of successfully influencing at all levels
Strong marketing skills and experience using a wide variety of strategic and tactical marketing tools
Self-managed personality to understand targets and challenges and develop appropriate solutions and plans
Critical vision to understand current models and have the capability to challenge them and develop new options in a collaborative approach
