Roc Search is currently recruiting for an Quality Engineer based in Rochester, Kent.
Key skills:
*Hazard analysis, risk assessment and failure mode and effects analysis
*Analysis of machine safety function requirements and performance levels
*Compilation of technical construction files and documentation
*Guidance on current and future legislative requirements and effects
*Liaison with internal and external departments as required
*Possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
*Demonstrate enthusiasm, the ability to communicate and influence change
Responsibilities:
*Be educated to HND/Degree level in an associated engineering discipline (or equivalent career experience).
*Experienced in system safety analysis methods, such as SISTEMA, FMEDA, FTA, etc.
*Knowledge and application of safety standards such as EN ISO 13849, 61508, 26262.
*Good working knowledge of machine hydraulic and electrical systems.
*Well-developed analytical skills - rigorous but pragmatic.
