Description

We are looking for a Geoportal Business Analyst to work at our multinational client in Stockholm/Sweden.

Expected tasks

  • Liaise closely with all the project stakeholders, including business owners, end users, project managers, and enterprise and solution architects
  • Assist stakeholders in identifying the synergy between the projects tangent to the Geoportal
  • Assist business owners with articulating vision and writing business cases
  • Perform stakeholder analysis and assist strategic stakeholders in defining business needs
  • Model, document, analyse, and propose improvements to business processes
  • Model, document, analyse, and propose improvements to business processes and data models
  • Requirements elicitation and analysis, critical review of business requests, verification and validation, ensuring proper documentation and traceability
  • Support business owners and project managers in the prioritization of requirements
  • Assist in writing test cases and contribute to testing in different stages
  • Create and maintain technical and user documentation
  • Prepare contents of feasibility and related studies for IT and non-IT projects
  • Conduct peer reviews of studies and requirements specifications
  • Contribute to and validate the functional testing of the Geoportal

Educational and experience

  • University degree with minimum 6 years of experience in business requirements analysis for complex and scientific application
  • Experience in the area of GIS systems (eg ESRI ArcGIS)
  • Experience with GIS concepts and geoportal concepts.
  • Strong experience eliciting, analysing and documenting functional and non-functional requirements
  • Strong experience in process modelling and reengineering
  • Excellent experience with UML and BPMN
  • Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect
  • Experience with ArchiMate as modelling tool
  • Experience with MS Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Experience with K2 for workflow automation
  • Certifications in the area of Business Analysis/BPMN are a strong advantage
