Description
We are looking for a Geoportal Business Analyst to work at our multinational client in Stockholm/Sweden.
Expected tasks
- Liaise closely with all the project stakeholders, including business owners, end users, project managers, and enterprise and solution architects
- Assist stakeholders in identifying the synergy between the projects tangent to the Geoportal
- Assist business owners with articulating vision and writing business cases
- Perform stakeholder analysis and assist strategic stakeholders in defining business needs
- Model, document, analyse, and propose improvements to business processes
- Model, document, analyse, and propose improvements to business processes and data models
- Requirements elicitation and analysis, critical review of business requests, verification and validation, ensuring proper documentation and traceability
- Support business owners and project managers in the prioritization of requirements
- Assist in writing test cases and contribute to testing in different stages
- Create and maintain technical and user documentation
- Prepare contents of feasibility and related studies for IT and non-IT projects
- Conduct peer reviews of studies and requirements specifications
- Contribute to and validate the functional testing of the Geoportal

Educational and experience
- University degree with minimum 6 years of experience in business requirements analysis for complex and scientific application
- Experience in the area of GIS systems (eg ESRI ArcGIS)
- Experience with GIS concepts and geoportal concepts.
- Strong experience eliciting, analysing and documenting functional and non-functional requirements
- Strong experience in process modelling and reengineering
- Excellent experience with UML and BPMN
- Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect
- Experience with ArchiMate as modelling tool
- Experience with MS Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Experience with K2 for workflow automation
- Certifications in the area of Business Analysis/BPMN are a strong advantage
