WebSphere MQ Infrastructure Specialist - UNIX, Linux, Wintel
As Infrastructure Specialist you will work daily to achieve and removing MQ links
You have plenty of space to bring the knowledge and experience you have gained elsewhere in the connectivity infrastructure specialist.
Lets you deliver a fundamental contribution to the reliable and safe service and to customers.
For our client we are looking for a connectivity expert with knowledge of MQ and preferably IFSA (propriaty implementation) for the realization and removing links from MQ Infrastructure for applicative environments and providing support in testing.
tasks:
- Support migrations
- Creating new MQ links
- Removal of old links
- Giving support in testing
Main tasks/deliverables are:
- Intakes, determine what needs to be done to match a migration HINTS MQ
- Afconfiguratie on Unix/Linux and Wintel
- Build and remove links aid of Central ITM configatie tooling
- Test support on Unix/Linux and Wintel but also z/OS and HPNS
Setting:
You will work directly with around 13 colleagues to connectivity migrations.
Profile:
An analytical, stress resistant, precise and structured working MQ specialist with a service attitude and team spirit.
- Extensive experience and functional and technical knowledge of (recent versions of) WebSphere MQ, operating systems (z/OS, AIX, HPUX, Linux and Wintel), network components, security (Boks, SSL ...)
- Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server and/or Tomcat is a plus
- Knowledge of monitoring and performance is a plus
- HBO thinking and working level
- At least three years experience in a large organization
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Experience with agile methods like Scrum or Kanban is a plus
- Furthermore, you score well on the skills: problem analysis, judgment, listening, organizing own work, customer and results orientation, cooperation, initiative and creativity
