Management Accountant
The Management Accountant will be based with a leading financial services company in Cardiff on an initial contract length of 6 months. Although the initial contract is for 6 months, the contract has a very high potential to go long past the initial contract on offer. The initial day rate on offer is £250 - £300 a day, the client has confirmed there is currently no flexible on the rate unfortunately. They are looking for the right Management Accountant pretty urgently and ideally are looking for a candidate with notice period of 1 month or less, but it is negotiable.

The client ideally likes to keep hold of good contractors, and has quite a high potential to move on to future projects if you have proven yourself as a reliable contractor.
The responsibilities of the Management Accountant will be responsible for producing forecasts, as well as understanding and providing insight for tracking performance of the business.
Some of the core characteristics that the successful Management Accountant will possess are an accounting certification, experience with costing, experience with forecasting, and strong Management Information (MI) skills. Some of the desirable skills that the client has listed are good excel skills, strong communication skills, and ability to challenge the process.
