SAP FI/TRM Solution Architect - English Speaking. Lisbon, Portugal. Start: 1st August Month Contract
Our client based in Lisbon, Portugal, requires an SAP Solution Architect for a 4 month contract.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in designing and implementing Technical Architectures
- Excellent knowledge and proven experience in SAP Software Solutions (ie SAP ECC FICO and TRM, SAP BW, SAP BO)
- Good knowledge of Business Solution Analysis. Understand processes and interpret business requirements
- Ability to define and communicate the big picture in terms of the overall integration solution (both functional and technical picture) and break it down into smaller manageable work units
- Understanding of the concepts of re-use and when to apply
- Leadership, team working, oral and written communications
- Ability to take the ownership of topics and manage to resolution
Nice to have:
- Good knowledge in non-SAP Software Solutions (PeopleSoft, WEB, EAI/ESB (Informatica), Ariba, IBM P8/CMOD, etc.) is a plus
- Experience in designing and implementing Solution Architecture (for instance SOA architecture, Enterprise Service Bus, WEB, SAP, PeopleSoft, Cloud, etc.) is also a plus
- Project management skills
- Testing ability: to set-up Testing practices and identify improvement actions
Languages:
- Must be fluent in English
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Contribute in defining the reference Architecture.
- Have a consistent and complete view on the company's Solutions
- Identify cross-team issues. Implement & manage convergence
- leverage the reuse
- Define best practices, standards and conventions
- Ensure the consistency of the overall solutions guarantee the flexibility, the agility, the maintainability, the security and the scalability
- Lead enterprise-level information technology roadmap planning and information governance activities.
- Work closely with the Business, Demand and Supply project teams, understand the overall business requirements in order to:
- Define the solution architecture that meets all business requirements
- Maps business process to the applications components that support them,
- Identify all the interfaces/data flows with others applications; create an inventory of all cross-application interactions or interfaces, also referred to as business events or messages
- Draft a data object repository that provides a common structure for mapping data between different applications,
- Drive out the full set of requirements (functional, quality, integration, and security)
- Provide regular detailed impact analysis assessment of Enterprise Architecture components
- Perform software/products selection based on the requirements and overall architecture guiding principles
- Work and drive Solution Architects to ensure consistency over all IT Solutions
- Help to define the performance goals and metrics for the proposed solution.
- Setup an Architecture review process to ensure that the developed application is compliant with the defined Architecture
- Participate in defining the Architecture Framework, Governance and Organization
- Identify and deploy appropriate Architecture tools
- Define when, how, what Architecture contributions in a Project life cycle
- Define and deploy procedures to enable tracking and enforcement of standards
- Create and maintain a modelling approach, minimize redundancies and enhance information quality
- Define the architecture standard, artefacts and methodology
