CRM/Loyalty Insight and Analytics Consultant - World Leading Oil & Gas Co

World Leading Global Energy Oil Company currently upskilling their Retail Data & Analytics team has an exciting opportunity for a Data Insight and Analytics Consultant to bring knowledge in house and to be responsible for delivery of analytics to internal clients.

About the Role:

  • Liaising with the CRM & Loyalty marketing team to understand and implement campaign & reporting requirements
  • Analysing data using SQL/SAS to drive higher retention rates by profiling the customer base using segmentation, propensity models and demographics
  • Helping the business form more targeted campaigns by identifying the needs of customers through analysis
  • Identifying acquisition, churn and cross sell/up sell triggers for outbound campaigns
  • Liaising closely with the modelling team for new model development as well as helping them to identify ways of improving the existing models using newly acquired data (internal & external)
  • Acting as team/project lead to delegate work to more junior peers and being responsible for supervising/QC/signing off the output
  • Delivering counts and adhoc queries where required

About You:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a numerical subject (eg but not exclusively Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Geography, Psychology, Business Intelligence, Computer Science)
  • 4-6 Years analytical background.
  • Strong coding skills SQL/SAS.
  • CRM understanding and skills
  • Experience of CRM/marketing platforms (Adobe, Unica, Alterian, Faststats) beneficial
  • Good excel/PowerPoint skills
  • Experience working with consumer data to deliver profiling and segmentation (clustering/chaid)
  • Propensity modelling experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage client expectations
  • Ability to manage internal expectations great communication skills
  • Ability to, work alone and within a team - essential that you can manage your own workload
  • Ambition to deliver to a high standard, at all times and challenge/drive the client when necessary
  • Line management/team lead experience beneficial
