I am currently recruiting for a UX Specialist for a contract position based in Kuwait. The position will be for an 8 month contract starting early September.The following duties and skills will be required
Essential
Strong portfolio of examples of work for leading clients, excellent skills in HTML5/CSS/JavaScript adopting modern frameworks and techniques such as jQuery/AngularJS
Knowledge and experience of:
o User centred design principles showing how a relentless focus on user needs can be translated into highly usable digital services.
o JavaScript, jQuery
o User Experience Design
o the latest Front End development technologies and techniques - HTML5/CSS/JavaScript
o accessibility standards to AAA, WC3
o Server Side technologies and how they influence the user experience
o Cross-browser issues and web standards that affect client-side development
Leading the creation, interpretation and translation of wireframes into tangible and compelling experiences across multiple digital platforms/channels
Responsive web design skills
Capable at leading and being part of a multi-disciplinary agile software development team including roles such as Product Owners, Architects, Designers, Developers, Business Analysts and Project Managers
A creative thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills: able to articulate ideas in compelling ways to gain buy-in and trust from the team and clients
Organised: Confident at multi-tasking, able to logically prioritise workload to ensure successful outcomes
Security Clearance: candidates may need to successfully complete SC security clearance.
