Description
Major investment bank is seeking a Fund Accountant to work on an initial 6 month contract with a view to becoming rolling based in Glasgow.
The Department the role will sit within is comprised of a number of different functions responsible for NAV production, monthly OEFA oversight controls and statutory and financial statements reporting services for UK Open Ended Investment Companies, Unit Trusts and UK administered SICAV's and Dublin funds. As a Fund Accountant the role will contribute to the successful delivery of agreed reporting requirements in accordance with client service level agreements. This Senior Fund Accountant role is responsible for the monitoring, review and sign off of work completed by other team members and client deliverable's.

Core Duties
To meet client KPI's and service delivery commitments
To review and sign-off of team deliverables including but not limited to:
o Daily Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
o Distribution calculations
o Monthly trustee/control packs
o Management service charge calculations
o Performance fee calculations
o Portfolio turnover calculations
o Yield calculations
o Total expense ratios
o ONS Returns
o Timely completion of internal team management information
o Participate in client and internal change activity as required ensuring no detrimental impact to client service delivery
Required Skills
Sound technical experience in financial services dealing with Open Ended Collective Investment Schemes
Previous IOC Certification is required
Computer literacy including MS Excel
