Description
Support First and Second Level wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- 2 - 3 years experience working in IT, preferably within the financial sector
- A solid technical understanding of IT and experience with Unix (e.g. handling files, searching logs, checking processes) and with SQL querying (Oracle / Microsoft SQL)
- Proven track record of high performance in a service orientated environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and service focus which must be demonstrated through previous education or career experience
- Languages: Strong communication skills in fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus
Your tasks:
- Providing day-to-day 1st and 2nd Level Technical Support
- Building relationships with our key stakeholders particularly within application development and the business community
- Actively identifying knowledge, performance and quality gaps within the team and addressing them using hands-on face-to-face coaching
- Escalating and resolving major incidents
- Improving software applications including monitoring and automation
