Description
Ruby Developer | Ruby Developer required with experience of working with Java and open source technologies (Ruby, Sinatra, Rails, XML, JSON, Web Services, REST API) in a Unix/Linux environment. Firm understanding of multi-threading.
The following skills are essential:
Design, develop, and configure software systems to meet market and/or client requirements either end-to-end from analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing), to delivery and maintenance of the software product or system or for a specific phase of the life cycle. Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support a client, project or entity.
Skills/Experience required:
Experience in one or more of the following; Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Sinatra
Technical knowledge covering infrastructure and/or applications.
Strong communication and inter-personal skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
Hands-on experience developing object-oriented applications using Java and open source technologies (Ruby, Sinatra, Rails, XML, JSON, Web Services, REST API) in a Unix/Linux environment. Firm understanding of multi-threading.
Experience with industry application architecture and design patterns including SOA
Knowledge of designing and developing process based solutions
Proven success in contributing to a team-orientated environment
Proven abilities to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Pro-active and quick learner.
Other Desirable Skills:
DevOps and auto deployment processes
