Our client in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a Business Analyst for a 6 months+ project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Five or more years relevant business experience of requirements analysis in software development projects
- Business Analysis certification is a plus
- SCRUM experience in an agile development environment is desirable
- Extensive experience in Use Cases, User Stories, Business Process Analysis and Modeling
- Excellent (oral and written) communication skills, effectively able to apply a variety of requirement elicitation techniques
- Exceptional problem solving, analytical and organization skills with a detail oriented attitude
- Understanding of the software development life cycle
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Engages in pre-project initiation activities delivering high level requirements and scope
- Helps define project goals, and focuses on the delivery of product features
- Elicits, identifies, analyzes, models and documents customer requirements, ensuring that the requirements are understandable, complete, unambiguous, testable and meet real needs of stakeholders
- Validates and verifies that business, stakeholder, functional and non-functional requirements are satisfied by the technology solution
- Effectively communicates requirements for the design, development and testing of business solutions
- Responsible for the management and traceability of project requirements
- Evaluating software products against required features to identify appropriate solution (Buy Vs. Build)
- Guides stakeholders and end users through the acceptance test phase (UAT)
- Supports the smooth transition of new systems to end users
