1) Mobile Automation Engineer
Brampton, ON
Contract: 6months +
Responsibilities:
- Rich Experience designing & developing Automation framework for Desktop and Mobile applications
- Developing, and maintaining an innovative test automation system for the organization
- Define automated test criteria and develop automated test scripts for all the functionality that meets specified automation criteria
- Work with continuous integration teams to support the creation of new, and maintenance of existing automated test scripts
- Manage the overall execution of automated test suites and provide regular/periodic reporting on results (automation suite evolution, testing execution, defect management trends and factors)
- Define sound problem solving methodologies to identify, troubleshoot, and properly document software defects found through automation
- Acquire and maintain an in-depth business and technical knowledge of the systems being tested
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering and/or equivalent formal training
- 5+ years of work experience in relevant field.
Required Skill Set:
- Hands on experience with Automation framework development is required
- Must have hands on experience on Selenium, Appium or other automation tools
- Strong understanding and Programming experience in Core Java & Object Oriented Design and development. Must be hands on with Java coding skills.
- Knowledge of Page Object Model.
- Must have experience of working in a multi-location team environment.
- Experience with source code revision control systems GIT or SVN
- Understanding of IPTV domain and technologies will be a big plus.
- Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities, set expectations and get things done
- Ability to work effectively and independently on multiple simultaneous tasks within a fast pace environment, yet a strong team player
