Role: Suse Linux Consultant
Location: Slough, UK
Duration: 6 months + extensions
Responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge on RHEL and SuSe Linux
- Design & Deploy Linux clusters
- Setup and manage cluster resources
- Deploy Linux Servers in VMware environment and physical blade Servers
- Automate deployments
- Shell Scripting
- VMware template for Linux VMs
- Strong knowledge on OS hardening and patching
- Application package installations and configurations
- Network & Storage configurations
- NFS, LDAP configurations
- Working with Backup clients - Commvault
- Server migrations using third party tools like Double-take, etc.
Skills
- RedHat 7.x
- SuSe Linux
- RedHat and Suse Cluster suites
- Experience on Double-take migration tool is preferred.
- Working with HDS Blades is preferred
- Working with HDS UCP is preferred
- VMware SRM is preferred
