Description
PROJECT MANAGER (TECHNICAL)
The contract is with a large consultancy to be on assignment at a client site in Luxembourg. The client is looking for a Project Manager to assist in the management and planning of a project together with IT and the business owner.
Tasks:
. Preparation of Project Charters, including project plans, budgets, resource requirements
. Operational project management or assistance to the client¡¦s internal project managers
. Regular follow-up and reporting of progress, including management of deliverables, budget, and identification of problems at an early stage
Skills and Experience
. General IT background acquired through a university degree in Information Technology
. At least 6 years of technical (project management) experience in any two of the sub-domains below:
Sub-domain 1: Portal, Web and End-User Technologies
Sub-domain specific competences:
. Portals
. Intranet
. Social Media
. Collaboration
. Mobile Computing
. SaaS/Cloud
Related technologies currently used: PeopleSoft Interaction Hub, Drupal, Java, Open Source, Smart Cards, IOS, SharePoint, Lync

. General knowledge in software development methodologies and release management

. Experience in large projects
