SAP FI Consultant needed - Retail Experience - Cape Town - 77 days initially:
Recruit 121 has a freelance assignment for a SAP FI consultant to join the team of its client in Cape Town, South Africa for 77 days on a full-time basis. This is a contract position.

Minimum core attributes:
FI expert in New GL but also understanding old GL
Profit Center and Cost Center strong design knowledge to understand their old technique and the new approach/design
Understand how to build Statutory statement while also providing managerial Profit & Loss statement by department/line of business
Understand the difference between Retail Method of Accounting and Moving Average Cost and their different implications in statutory reporting.
Experience in transition: RMA versus MAC,
Experience in Co-Existence design (old system and new system) understand progressive deployment.
Understand Retail large implementation for a retailer that goes from Retail Method of Accounting to MAC and the need to reproduce (simulate with its limit) the old P&L for the transition period using additional posting to reproduce managerial P&L.
