Description
Essential:
- Experience of developing user-centred, enterprise scale and distributed software solutions for digital projects.
- Strong experience of working in Agile methodology (SCRUM)
- Proven experience in developing secure and accessible (WCAG AA) web front-ends
- Expert JavaScript skills (frameworks and design patterns)
- Focus on web and GIS technologies (including ESRI, OpenLayers 3, Leaflet, PostGIS and GeoServer)
- Open source platforms and languages (including Java and Python), and open standards (including open-standards based REST web services). Integration with REST API's
Desirable:
- Experience of working alongside UX designers
- Experience in GDS (GOV.UK) style User Interfaces
- Experience with automated test frameworks (including Unit and End-to-end testing) and CI based development (Jenkins/Ansible/RPM/Artifactory).
- Automated build and test tools and frameworks (Gradle/Maven/JIRA/JBehave/Cucumber/Selenium)
