Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Oracle Database Developer to offer his/her services within a European Institution (client) in Brussels, Belgium to start ASAP a 9-12 months contract (initial) in an EN-speaking environment, the perspective is multiple-years.
Tasks & Responsibilities
This work includes, among others, the following tasks:
- Development and deployment of the financial management module application the back-offices of the agency;
- On-site support by a dedicated team to develop, test, debug, deploy, analyse and provide support;
- Interfacing with the Data-warehouse;
- Interfacing with WFS and the New Workflow system, Wave;
- Define, write and maintain technical analysis and architecture documents with the highest standards;
- Integrate User and Security Management module;
- Align the Back Office with the evolution of the modules in the Front Office;
- Enrich and improve the interfaces with the Front Office and the Back Office;
- Analysis, design, validation and implementation of appropriate technology solutions;
- Animation of and participation in weekly status meetings.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 16 years of higher studies and professional experience;
- Minimum 8 years in Oracle, 6 years in Java Applications, 4 years in SOA;
- Excellent knowledge in Service Oriented Architecture;
- Knowledge of Oracle SOA suite, Oracle Service Bus;
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle databases;
- Knowledge of UML;
- Good knowledge of J2EE (EJB/Spring) development tools;
- Good knowledge of Java/JSP;
- Knowledge of BEA WebLogic;
- Knowledge of Maven for testing purposes;
- In-depth knowledge of integration, build and test methodologies;
- Capability to work in English;
- Capability to work in team in a multicultural and multilingual environment;
- Capabilities to draft documents in English, hold meetings and keep the minutes;
- Knowledge of EU financial regulation and/or accounting information systems would be an asset.
