A chance to work with state of the art technology in a fast-growing, young competence center for one of the world's largest online reseller. Located in Amsterdam, I have been engaged by a leading Retail client to assist them in their search for a MS BI Developer.
Responsibilities include:
Gathering business requirements for reporting, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis
Transforming those requirements into low-maintenance scalable designs
Developing designs in SSAS Tabular and ensuring the data inside is according to the requirements
Pro-actively thinking and developing ways to extract more value out of data.
This could be a new SSAS Tabular model, but also a data analysis that leads to new insights Investigating and solving reported issues
Work with other members of our BI/Data warehousing team to develop joint strategies and principles for Business Intelligence that fit with our business needs
This job is for you if you
Have a bachelor or master degree in computer science, business administration, economics or related Have three or more years of experience in data warehousing environments
Have a very good knowledge of SQL
Know how to develop SSAS Tabular and/or SSAS Multidimensional models
Have a decent understanding of Oracle and/or SQL Server databases
Are open minded, willing to learn new technologies such as Tableau, MS Power BI, Informatica Powercenter etc.
