Credit Risk Analyst - Corporates & FI - Counterparties, Sovereigns - Financial Services - London
Urgent new contract opportunity for a Credit Risk Analyst to join a market leading financial services institution within the Clearing and Exchange space. This is a 6 month contract position based in the City of London and offers £350 - £450 per day (depending on experience).
Working closely with the Head of Credit Risk on a 6 month term rolling contract (12 months of work), you will be required to assess credit quality and assign credit ratings to members/clients. This includes conducting credit risk assessment on investment counterparties, sovereigns, and FI's.
You will have the opportunity to lead ad hock risk projects, provide extensive in depth risk analysis, and work in a small dynamic team that suits closely with the market risk team allowing you to liaise with a variety of senior stakeholders across the organisation. You will also have the opportunity to develop your understanding of Financial Market Infrastructure and the CCP space.
Key Requirements
- Must have a foundation of Credit Risk experience at a financial institution (ideal for someone looking to make the next step in their career)
- Must have a good understanding of Corporate/FI Credit
- Capable of liaising with internal and external stakeholders, facing off to CxO level.
- Strong numerical competency capable of stress testing and some model validation
- Available to start within 4 weeks
