Position: Web Developer
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: 6 Month's
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop web sites/applications
- Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements web based software applications
- Participates in the application testing process through test reviews and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
- Understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures
- Communicate directly with peers and managers while developing a completed and successful solution
- Work with on shore and off shore development, QA, business analyst teams
- Conduct functionality reviews with key stakeholders
- Conduct code walk-throughs with team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems (or commensurate experience)
- Experience developing web applications using JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 (Minimum 2 years)
- Experience with web based User Interface (UI) experience using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap (Minimum 2 years)
- Experience with web based rapid development, using HTML, XML, CSS, .NET and SQL (Minimum 1 year)
- Responsive Design development experience (using Bootstrap preferably)
- Prior CMS (Content Management system) experience; preferably Percussion (Minimum 1 year)
- Cross browser/platform development experience
- Experience implementing and supporting 3rd party APIs (social media, Google analytics, etc )
- Understands and uses Agile software development methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
- Microsoft Office skills to include Word, Excel, Visio and SharePoint, TFS, PWA
- Must be detailed oriented and have excellent written and veral communication skills and be able to communicate effectively
- Ability to translate and implement business requirements to code, test, debug and refactor as necessary
- Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented
- Good Interpersonal Communication and Writing skills
- Ability to multi-task and adjust to changes in a fast paced environment
Additional Knowledge, skills and abilities
- .NET development experience
- Experience with creating and/or consuming web services
- SQL Server Database experience
- Organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of the clients' timelines and budgets with accuracy
- Awareness and pride in 100% client satisfaction
- Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrate ability to think independently
- Strong testing, troubleshooting skills using browser developer tools and device emulators
- Marketing and branding knowledge
