I am working with a global digital agency who are looking for a senior content strategist to join their team. This strategist will be working with one of their biggest clients who are leading in Business Intelligence and academic publishing.
Project:
The client is looking to improve their digital offering to their customers and drive more traffic to their sites, by creating a strongly performing digital presence that addresses the following issues:
- Low discoverability of offerings through natural search
- Low conversions because of non-optimized customer experience
- Lack of consistency and variable quality of the online brand presence
The overall aim is to redesign their customer facing channels (web, mobile) via a responsive marketing website for each industry vertical that they deal in; we have completed an initial discovery phase from a content perspective and defined key user journeys, recommendations and started the implementation in March. This person will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that will deliver across UX, content and technology.
Main responsibilities:
- Working with client to identify content requirements on vertical level
- Working with client and offshore team to create production plan for what content needs to be delivered to offshore at what stage; liaising between client and Offshore to answer queries
- Working with product stakeholders to identify what product content can be used for marketing purposes; working with the UX team to ensure this content can be accounted for in user journeys and page templates
- Creating briefs for content production
- Developing best practice guidelines
