My client is a urgently looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to work in their office based in Richmond on a 12 month contract.

Overview:
You will be reporting to the Head of Retail, this new role will play an important part in owning and driving all the clients engagement with a critical portfolio of enterprise merchant partners. Particular focus will be placed on building and maintaining long-term relationships with the enterprise merchant portfolio and managing programs of initiatives that will drive enhanced consumer experience across all merchant channels. In conjunction with the client's expert teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for orchestrating efforts to drive greater quality, growth in TPV, Revenue and SOC while ensuring unparalleled service levels.

Core responsibilities:
- Ownership of the end-to-end strategic relationships with a portfolio of key large enterprise merchants.
- Building relationships with senior merchant partner management ('C' level) to engender trust, confidence, loyalty, awareness and mutual value.
- Ownership of the commercial relationship with the merchant and negotiation of pricing and contractual terms as appropriate.
- Creation and ownership of strategic account plans for the portfolio and leading the cross-functional account team on specific targeted value-driving initiatives.
- Responsibility for managing the full program of new client's products to be rolled out to the merchant portfolio.
- Resolving any issues that threaten the health of business relationships and combat competitive threats to the client.
- Learning merchant product pain points and wish-list; understands priorities and urgency; communicates this knowledge to management; keeps the merchants informed of product roadmap.
- Collaborate with functional groups (Product, Engineering, Risk, Ops, etc.) for learning and quality driving purposes.
- Working with client Marketing teams on high impact programs and development of collateral.
- Selling into the merchant portfolio; engages Product, Marketing and Sales Engineering as needed; drives to implementation; oversees quality and delivery of integration and marketing commitments.

Experience required:
Work experience in as a Senior Relationship Manager, Relationship Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager or Sales Manager, selling and delivering complex solutions into large enterprise/multinational organizations within a relevant sector - ie Payments, Retail, Technology, Mobile, Social Media, E-commerce or Communications.
Knowledge of online and mobile payment processing and the E-commerce industry is preferred.
