Cold Fusion developer (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, SOAP;)
This contract is with a consultancy to be on a long term assignment at an EEC site in central Brussels as follows:-
Participate to requirements analysis, prototyping, definition and integration of technological components;
Data analysis, Datamodelling, physical database design;
Assistance with evaluating and testing products to ensure that they conform to the Commission requirements;
Technical analysis and writing of technical documentation;
Design, implementation and maintenance of software components for web-based applications principally in ColdFusion, PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML;
Design, implementation and maintenance ETC.
Requires:-
Minimum a total of 9 years of relevant studies and/or experience after the secondary school;
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
In-depth knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, stored procedures languages (PL/SQL);
In-depth knowledge of ColdFusion 9 and upper (component based);
Experience with interoperability of Back End systems of different technologies (eg bridge Ms SharePoint (.Net) to ColdFusion, use of WebServices );
Experience with document processing (OCR, PDF, ) and document management;
Expertise in the following domains would be an asset:
Ø In-depth knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier web applications;
Ø Good knowledge of application development environments;
Ø Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments;
Ø HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, SOAP technologies;
Ø Good knowledge of Adobe Flex, Java, Microsoft SharePoint and .NET technologies;
Ø Good knowledge of modelling tools (eg UML) and software development methodologies (eg RUP, AGILE);
Ø Knowledge of Windows; Microsoft Active Directories; LDAP; FTP; SVN;
Ø Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication;
Ø Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability and experience in working in team;
Excellent written and oral command of English;
