The SharePoint Technical Lead will be responsible for the migration and modernization of RFS Application (MS Sharepoint 2007 ) to an enterprise framework using SQL Server, SharePoint, and InfoPath to share point outlook 365 cloud environment. This position is responsible for leading the architecture, design, development, testing and deployment of modernized, enterprise versions of these applications in a renowned Banking Client. The SharePoint Technical Lead must be highly skilled in the design, development, configuration and implementation of SharePoint and MS SQL Server applications.
The SharePoint Technical Lead is responsible for leading the Software Development Life Cycle, including analysis, design, development and testing of Microsoft SharePoint application. Ability to lead and facilitate meetings with the client, users and the development team is essential. Ability to create high quality technical documentation including architecture, requirements and test documentation is a must. Prior successful experience leading a team of developers in the creation of MS SharePoint/SQL Server applications is required. Recent hands-on development experience with MS SharePoint/SQL Server would be beneficial.
Additional responsibilities include:
*Migration of existing SharePoint 2007/SQL Server to MS share point cloud environment.
*Coordinating and cooperating with the client, the project manager the program manager and developers to implement a SharePoint/SQL Server architecture that utilizes best practices and modernizes existing Access applications
*Develop and migrate master pages, views, forms, templates, external lists, external content types, custom lists, web parts, master pages and other custom components.
*Doc Ave Tool for migration
*Responsible for estimating work content and achieving planned timelines
*Responsible for following project management/life cycle development processes and procedures
Required skills:
*Extensive hands on experience developing SharePoint and SQL Server applications from the ground up, including experience with SharePoint 2007 and MS Share Point cloud environments
*Strong understanding of SharePoint 2007 structures, theories, principles, and practices
*Strong programming skills in website development in a Microsoft environment
*Strong understanding of Systems Engineering concepts and practices
*Hands on experience building advanced web applications (preferable .NET with C#), including developing Web Services
*Hands on experience installing and configuring Doc Ave Tool for migration, Active Directory and Internet Information Services (IIS)
*Hands on experience with data migrations, preferably from MS Access/MS SQL Server database(s)
*Hands on experience programming in SharePoint Designer and InfoPath with a MS SQL Server Back End
*Hands on experience developing and utilizing SharePoint components including, forms, templates, external lists, external content types, custom lists, BCS, service applications, web parts, master pages and content management
