iSource IT are recruiting a contract Web Developer to join the team at an established utilities company based in Wakefield.
About the role:
The purpose of the role is to support the delivery of the CRM Programme and an improved customer experience, a key resource is required for web development and system administration. The successful candidate will support the change agenda to offer improved customer experience, identifying and implementing changes to positively enhance the experience on our integrated web services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform content configuration duties on the web browser based Oracle Cloud CX (Customer Relationship Management) suite including Oracle Policy Automation and Customer Portal technologies
- Action any necessary adjustments to the design and configuration of the system to maximise efficiency and improve the customer/colleague experience
- Oversee all change to CRM related web content, provide input to impact assessments to deliver effective change management
- Proactively propose suggestions on web/system improvements/ways of working, using on-line customer and colleague survey metric feedback to validate
- Proactively liaise with Oracle for any support/upgrade issues, providing feedback for future enhancements as well as keeping appraised of future system enhancements and their potential benefits
- Work collaboratively to continuously improve the customer journey experience
- Oversee profile settings and user access to workflow, user workspaces, navigation settings and visibility of reports
- Provide technical assistance to business users as required, including assisting answering questions or providing feedback
Skills & Experience Needed:
- Practical experience in web page and site content development using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with key business stakeholders to identify and recommend improvements
- Outstanding degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly motivated and flexible to deal with constantly changing demands
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or significant work experience in lieu
- Experience of web content management
- Experience in developing websites and/or web applications, HTML, Java and CSS
- Web and mobile design HTML5/HTML CSS3/CSS
- Ability to write/edit/troubleshoot JavaScript (object-oriented coding, AJAX, JSON, and JQuery)
The initial role is based around a 6 month contract with a view to a permanent position at the end of the 6 months.
