On behalf of our client, an international finance institute, are we looking for 1 external resource as stated here below:
IT- Operations analyst Windows (f/m) financial area Luxembourg F636
Role/Area
You will provide support to IT mission critical applications within the client environment and will ensure that maximum service level is provided to customers on a 24-hour basis.
Tasks/responsibilities
- You will support the production environment 24/7 and will solve business and IT incidents with innovative solutions to ensure that a maximum service level is provided to Customers on a 24-hour basis
- You will implement, integrate and support third party software as well as internally developed applications within the IT productions environment as well as managed services customers
- You will analyse problems and resolve issues and will perform monitoring, tuning and optimisation of performance of in-house IT applications as well as third party software whilst ensuring maximum availability and service to customers
- You will deploy business applications to end users
- You will act as a liaison between business and IT for connectivity issues
- You will ensure the integrity of the production environment and will implement upgrades or new products that are critical for the daily operational business
- Work in new deployment projects and document implemented solutions
Qualifications/required skills
- University degree, BAC+2/3 in an IT related discipline or equivalent through relevant work experience
- Experience in Windows server environments is required
- Experience in application support on project implementation or administrative position
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating systems (Servers, workstations), Powershell
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, Skype for Business, Microsoft SQL
- Experience in virtualised/shared environments (Citrix - VMWare)
- Organised, curious, proactive, ability to work in a team
- Customer-facing role, service-oriented attitude and attention to detail
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and French. Additional languages will be an asset
- The job calls for both technical capability and business understanding
- An unflappable temperament is a must
